- a website for Schuco collectors

Schuco is probably one of the most well known tin toy factories of all times.
Together with Arnold, Bing, JNF and many other great companies they were
among the forerunners of innovative and technically visionary tin toys in the golden
age of Nuremberg tin toys from the early 20'es and onwards in Germany.


Schuco made a lot of highly innovative toys. Amongst them the well known
Schuco Hydro with a fully working automatic transmission fluid system, The
Daredevil motorcycle: Schuco Curvo - which actually was able to perform up to
seven different driving schemes - only by wind-up and spring drive technique.
Also the Schuco Examico, Schuco Magico and Schuco Kommando were great
toys in their age. High quality and great ideas in one.


This website is  devoted to the old original Schuco cars and motorcycles.
TINTOY might occasionally have other brands and some items from the current Schuco labels
classic series - but the main focus is on the old original Schuco tin toys.

RARE NUTZ SCHUCO MICRO RACERS
When Schuco head factory employee Verner Nutz
left Schuco just before its first bankruptcy in 1976 he had
the permission to take with him all original moulds
for the micro racers. He moved to the U.S. and

the original old moulds and tools. On the front
you will see the rare Nutz logo. Later the rights
were sold to the Lilliput Company and then production was
made in Czechoslovakia, Hungary and later China.
However these two are the rare seen Nutz versions
of the fabulous micro racers and what's more:

the come mint in boxes in very rare colors as well:
Creme and grey!
